Save the Elsie Bridge

As of June 2015, the bridge, referred to as the Grist Mill Bridge,Dam and Mill Site, has been listed to the National Register of Historic Places! To look at registry at National Park Service go to www.nps.gov/nr/listings/20150612.htm

The Upton Road bridge, near Elsie, Michigan was built in 1901 by the Detroit Bridge and Iron Works. It is a Parker Thru Truss steel bridge with a span of 160 feet across the Maple River in Clinton County, Michigan. According to mulitple sources, the bridge qualifies as a historical significant designation.
